The Challenge
To offer online stock trading for free, while most importantly giving the customers what they want such as market data, tools, news, opinions and insight.

The Solution
Firstly, we designed a community that brought online traders closer together by upgrading the blogging and forum area and implementing live market data, quote lookup, charts, Ratings, SEC Fillings and news feeds. Secondly, we designed an online revenue model making money from online advertisement programs such as Google AdSense and margin interest from customers’ trading accounts. 

The Result
We have successfully established the site in the American market, one of the toughest markets in the world, created an online community with more than 1 million users and integrated banking and transaction handling hereby turning Zecco.com into a successful business with more than 100 employees. And as they say over there: “Maybe there is such a thing as a free lunch...”
